Per Relevo in Spain, United are assessing ex-Spain and Wolves boss Lopetegui as an option.

The Spaniard is very highly rated and did an outstanding job at Wolves last season.

Lopetegui departed Wolves in August after nine months in charge due to a lack of transfer investment.
