LOAN WATCH: Wigan's Dicko on target as Blackpool edge Peterborough

Nouha Dicko was a key contributor for Blackpool as they produced a fast finish to beat Peterborough United 4-1 on the weekend.

The 20-year old French attacker, who is on a season-long loan from Wigan Athletic, netted for the Seasiders in the 83rd minute when the game was in the balance after Dwight Gayle gave the Posh some hope just over ten minutes earlier.

Blackpool had a two-goal lead after Wes Thomas and Tom Ince scored within seven minutes of each other just before the hour-mark prior to Dicko grabbing his first goal since early October with a sliding finish from Angel Martinez's low cross to make it 3-1.

Ince put the icing on the cake with a fourth for Blackpool in the 88th minute which allowed Michael Appleton's men to move up to 12th on the Championship table.

Dicko's goal was his fourth of the campaign in his second loan spell at Bloomfield Road after making a total of 16 appearances in all competitions last term, scoring on four occasions.
