LOAN WATCH: West Brom boss Clarke could recall Millwall ace Wood

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke admits he may recall Chris Wood this winter.

The 21-year old New Zealand international has netted 11 goals on loan for Millwall but Clarke suggests he certainly does have a future at The Hawthorns.

"We have still got games to play before we get to January and the possibility of picking up injuries and suspensions," he said on Friday ahead of the weekend's 2-1 win over Norwich City.

"Chris is one of our players who is out on loan at the moment and doing fantastically well.

"He's got a lot of clubs interested in him but at the moment he's still an Albion player and if I need him to come back here next month and help us, that's what we will do.

"There is no guarantee of anything at this moment in time because the most important thing for me is West Bromwich Albion and I have to do what's right for them.

"As and when a decision has to be made, it will be made in the best interests of West Bromwich Albion."
