Aston Villa winger Samir Carruthers has had his loan with MK Dons extended.

The 20-year old Republic of Ireland U21 international joined the League One outfit in August on a loan which would run until early January but the two clubs have agreed to an extension.

Carruthers, who has made 19 appearances for MK, will now stay at the stadium:mk until April 3.
