Aston Villa loanee Stephen Ireland scored his first Premier League goal for Stoke City in the club's 3-3 draw with Swansea on Sunday.
Ireland, who joined the Potters on a season-long loan this summer, was set up through superb build-up play by Stoke's strike partnership of Peter Crouch and Jon Walters as the two forwards combined to play in the former Manchester City star to slot home past Gerhard Tremmel.
The goal put Stoke up 2-0 after 25 minutes but Swansea responded in the second half through Nathan Dyer and a Wilfried Bony brace.
The game seemed destined for a Swans victory however; Stoke would have the last laugh after Wayne Routledge was deemed to have handled the ball in the box and Charlie Adam duly stepped up to score the resulting penalty five minutes into injury time.
