LOAN WATCH: Villa's Delfouneso, Wigan's Dicko both on target but Blackpool held

Blackpool had two loan signings on the scoresheet on the weekend but could not manage a victory as they took on former boss Ian Holloway in an eventual 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace.

Aston Villa's Nathan Delfouneso, on loan for the season, and Wigan Athletic's Nouha Dicko, on a similar agreement, scored in either half but it was the two goals in between that allowed Palace to record a point at home.

In the 37th minute, Delfouneso got free at the back post to head home Tom Ince's cross just inside the six-yard box for his fourth goal of the season before Owen Garvan and league leading scorer Glenn Murray had the Eagles ahead by the 64th minute.

However, Dicko came off the bench with just over 15 minutes remaining and came up with an 89th minute equaliser, his second in two games, to send the Seasiders 11th with Palace remaining second.
