LOAN WATCH: Real Madrid unlikely to take Man Utd's Chicharito on permanent deal

Javier Hernandez is highly unlikely to remain at Real Madrid past this summer according to reports.

The Mexican striker joined the Spanish giants on a season-long loan from Manchester United in the summer with the view to a permanent deal if all parties were happy with how the temporary agreement played out.

However, The Express suggests that Real boss Carlo Ancelotti has no interest in signing Chicharito at the end of the campaign as he has used him 14 times in all competitions so far this term.

Hernandez has had to battle for game time against a formidable foursome consisting of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez suggesting his time at the Santiago Bernabeu will be up once the current campaign is complete.

Additionally, Real Madrid's director of institutional relations Emilio Butragueno recently said: "It is Carlo's decision, Javier trains well and is a great professional, but without any doubt the competition for places is very tough."
