LOAN WATCH: Newcastle's Good targeting Wembley dream with Bradford

Curtis Good has his fingers crossed that he will be included in the starting line-up if Bradford City make it to the Capital One Cup final.

The League Two club are on the verge of progressing to the February 24 decider as they lead Aston Villa 3-1 following the first leg at Valley Parade last week and Good wants to be there if they can hold off the Premier League club at Villa Park on January 22.

Good, on loan from Newcastle United, deputised for fellow Aussie James Meredith at left-back for the Bantams and now hopes he can remain in the team right through to the possible Wembley final.

"It was the best atmosphere I think I've ever played in and it would be a real letdown now not to join the boys at Wembley if we get there," said Good.

"I'm on loan until the end of January and if possible it would be good to extend that but that's out of my hands and a lot will depend on the situation back at Newcastle. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

"Playing at Wembley is a dream for any player and I am not different.

"But first we have to get there and you can be sure Villa will be up for it in the second leg. This tie is definitely not over yet."
