Barnsley and Manchester United have extended the loan spell of midfielder Ben Pearson.

The 20-year old initially joined the Tykes from United in January, and after extending for a month in February, will now remain at Oakwell until the end of the season.

Since joining Barnsley, Pearson has made 12 appearances for the South Yorkshire outfit who currently sit seventh on the League One having won their past with fixtures without conceding a goal.
