Out-of-favour Celtic forward Miku insists he is keen to prove his worth to manager Neil Lennon.
It has been suggested that the 27-year old Venezuelan international was set to prematurely return to parent club Getafe in January from his season-long loan at Parkhead but he told Lennon that he wants to stay in Glasgow and prove himself.
"We had a wee chat yesterday. He is happy here," said the Bhoys boss.
"He knows he can do better - but he wants to stay and be a success and I am very happy with that."
Miku has made 10 appearances in all competitions for Celtic, scoring just one goal since his arrival from Spain in the summer.
