For the second week in a row, Loic Remy helped Newcastle United seal victory over a top-four side as the Magpies defeated Tottenham 1-0 at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
The 26-year old is enjoying a fruitful loan spell with United after he moved to Tyneside from QPR on a season-long loan deal this past summer.
Remy increased his goal count for the season to seven after 13 minutes of the hotly contested clash. The Frenchman latched on to an inch-perfect pass from compatriot Yoann Gouffran and then rounded Spurs keeper Brad Friedel to finish the ball into an empty net.
It would be the prove to be only the goal scored in the match as Newcastle walked away with all three points, securing ninth place on the Premier League table along the way.
