LOAN WATCH: Chelsea starlet Kiwomya strikes again for Crewe Alexandra

Alex Kiwomya was again in scoring form for Crewe Alexandra in League Two on Tuesday night.

The 20-year-old striker netted his second goal for the Railwaymen as they drew 3-3 with Hartlepool United at Gresty Road in a six-goal thriller.

Kiwomya made a strong run down the left before his deflected cross found Chris Dagnall who finished for Crewe's 31st-minute opener, which was cancelled out by Carl Magnay's delightful finish form the edge of the area on 42 minutes.

The home side were soon ahead when Kiwomya, on the stroke of half-time, controlled Zoumana Bagayoko's long ball form the left before finishing beyond Hartlepool keeper Trevor Carson with a composed finish.

George Cooper put Crewe further ahead on 56 minutes but Steve Davis' side were to be denied a victory on home soil as Padraig Amond made it 3-2 before Magnay equalised with less than 15 minutes remaining.

Despite scoring and being involved in the opening goal, Kiwomya admitted it was not the desired result for Crewe who now sit eighth on the League Two table after three matches.

Kiwomya opened his scoring account for Crewe on debut in their season opening 2-1 victory at Stevenage and has since featured against Portsmouth in the league, and in the extra-time win over Sheffield United in the EFL Cup and now has two goals in four appearances for the Cheshire outfit.
