Marco van Ginkel is eagerly anticipating getting started with new club AC Milan.
The 21-year old Dutch midfielder is on a season-long loan from Chelsea and is excited to get started with the Rossoneri after the Italian giants worked so hard to get him to the San Siro during the summer transfer window.
"AC Milan wanted me for a long time and did everything to get me," van Ginkel told the Milan Channel.
"That is good for a player to know. We play with two attacking midfielders and a defensive one. I think I am more of an attacking one.
"I think Italian football suits me. Milan is a great club, even though we won't play in the Champions League this year, so I am fine here.
"Right now I am focused entirely on Milan, but I'm happy with the fact that Chelsea didn't put an option to buy in the loan."
Former Vitesse Arnhem ace van Ginkel will get the chance to make his Milan debut when the Italian giants take on Parma in the Serie A this weekend.
