LOAN WATCH: Cardiff's Kiss shines on debut for Ross County

Ross County boss Derek Adams was delighted with the debut of Cardiff City loanee Filip Kiss.

The 23-year old Slovakian midfielder, who has joined the Staggies for the remainder of the season, scored two goals in Saturday's 3-3 draw at Partick Thistle.

Kiss struck a lovely opener in the 23rd minute at Firhill Stadium before doubling his tally in the 76th minute to tie up the match after County had fallen behind 3-1 prior to Ben Gordon's 50th-minute effort.

After the match, Adams was thrilled with the performance of Kiss even though the overall team showing left a lot to be desired.

"I thought Kiss was outstanding. You could see the quality that he has got and why he has been playing for such a good team at Cardiff," Adams said.

"The goals we lost were shockers but he has had to pull two out of the bag to save us."

The draw saw Ross County remain second bottom on the Scottish Premier League table, 20 points clear of Heart of Midlothian, and one behind third-bottom Partick.
