Joe Bennett insists he has plenty to give to Aston Villa despite finding himself on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 24-year old left-back is on a season-long spell with the Championship club after failing to force his way into Paul Lambert's first team last term.
Bennett, who joined Villa from Middlesbrough in 2012, has made just 37 appearances since his arrival but is confident of adding plenty more to his tally when he returns from his temporary stint on the south coast.
"I think my long-term future is definitely with Villa," he told the Birmingham Mail.
"You never know what could happen. Brighton could get promoted and things could change.
"I could have a good season, go back to Villa and then play next season.
"At the moment I am just focusing on playing well and we'll see what happens at the end."
Since landing at the Amex Stadium, Bennett has played six times for the Seagulls who lie 17th on the league table.
