Michael Appleton's first game in charge as Portsmouth boss ended in a 2-0 defeat at Watford on Saturday and he is now ready to dip into the loan market to boost his squad. The loan window closes on Thursday and Appleton is on the look-out for Pompey reinforcements.
"We have a small squad and I would like to bring in two or three new faces," he said.
"If we can add a bit of quality and freshen things up, I think it will do everyone the world of good."
