Hugo Lloris isn't panicking over his situation at Tottenham.

Lloris joined Spurs on a four-year contract last Friday for an initial £8million from Lyon, but he may struggle to claim a starting spot with manager Andre Villas-Boas vowing to keep faith with in-form veteran Brad Friedel.

"I am a professional and I can put all this aside," an unusually uncommunicative Lloris told reporters on Thursday.

"I'm only and entirely focused on France. I've played enough matches in the past to be able to manage this."
