Livorno president Aldo Spinelli hopes to see summer signing Nelson Rivas make his debut against Siena this weekend.

The former Inter Milan defender played in their 8-0 friendly win over Picchi this week and Spinelli smiled: "He is recovering form and is an important player for us.

"I saw him do well with the team and I am confident. Everyone must continue to work with ease: I'm sure the results will come."
