Livorno president Aldo Spinelli has revealed West Ham United midfielder Alessandro Diamanti is missing his old club.

Spinelli sold Diamanti to West Ham in the final days of the summer market.

And he revealed on Radio Kiss Kiss: "Diamanti rang me last night, admitting that it is hard to get into the style of English football. But he earns so much money and is happy with the choice he made.

"Alessandro is a guy who three years ago was playing in the park and now is earning five million euros in five years, for him, it is really great stuff."
