Livorno admit Knezevic wants Roma move

Livorno President Aldo Spinelli admits Dario Knezevic wants to leave the relegated club for Roma.

The 28-year-old Croatia international is looking to move on after Livorno's relegation to Serie B.

When asked about reports linking Knezevic with a move to Roma, Spinelli said: "Roma are really interested in our defender.

"We have had a chat with their director of sport Daniele Prade, but we would like to wait until June 25 to resolve all our co-ownership deals.

"There are also other teams in Serie A who would like to sign the Croat [Bari and Chievo], but the absolute priority of the lad is to play for Roma.

"Prade has put a couple of youngsters on the plate, but right now it's too soon to speak about it."
