Liverpool have stayed silent on reports that Jordan Henderson has agreed a long-term deal with the club.
Reports on Monday night suggested that Henderson was set to sign a five-year contract with the Reds, worth around £100,000-a-week, but there has been no comment from the club regarding the proposal.
Press Association Sport contacted Liverpool concerning the Henderson deal but the Anfield outfit declined to comment.
Henderson, who is expected to replace the departing Steven Gerrard as captain at the end of the season, is currently contracted on Merseyside until the summer of 2016.
