Manchester City have emerged as a possible suitor for Liverpool starlet Jerome Sinclair.

The Daily Mirror is reporting City have sent scouts to Liverpool U-21 fixtures in order to track the progress of the talented 20-year-old.

Sinclair is off contract at the end of the current Premier League season and the Reds are yet to make any progress in their efforts to re-sign the forward.

It is understood City are ready to swoop for the player, should he become a free agent at season's end.
