Liverpool teenager Jason Banton is currently on a one-week trial with MLS club Chivas USA.
The 18-year old forward has been brought to the club by head coach Robin Fraser who is casting his eye over a number of young guns at the present time.
Banton joined the Reds in January after youth academy stints with Blackburn Rovers and Arsenal but is now under the tutelage of Fraser who admits he has plenty of talent.
"Everyone that comes here to train is a candidate," said Fraser. "He's a player that we heard about and got in contact with and he's over for a week's trial.
"He's got some talent, he's a young player and only 18 years old, but he's in some good environments and has some good parts to his game."
