Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi is battling to win a permanent deal at Stoke City.

The Sentinel says Assaidi is fast running out of time to state his case for another loan or a permanent move to the Britannia.

He has now been out for over a month with a knee ligament injury and failed to even make the bench at Aston Villa on Sunday.

His absence has also coincided with a resurgence of form which has seen Stoke lose just one of their last eight.
