Liverpool are prepared to cash in on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the winter or next summer.

The midfielder is now significantly low down in the pecking order at the Merseyside club.

Recently, media reports in England linked Oxlade-Chamberlain with a move back to boyhood club Arsenal.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Reds are ready to engage with other clubs regarding the 28-year-old.

However, they would hope to recoup a great deal of the £35 million they paid Arsenal for his signature four years ago.

Arsenal would prefer to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain on loan in January, while adding an option to buy him in the summer within that agreement.
