Liverpool are ready to meet the price of Swansea City midfielder Joe Allen's buyout clause.
The Sunday Mirror says Liverpool's owners will give manager Brendan Rodgers their full backing in the transfer market by this week by sanctioning a £15m bid for Swansea's Allen.
The Fenway Sports Group have bowed to Rodgers' wish that they spend what it takes to trigger a release clause in the Welsh midfielder's contract.
