Liverpool are reviving their long-term interest for Derby County midfielder Will Hughes.

The Daily Star Sunday says the Reds will land Will in a £15m deal if Derby fail to get promoted to the Premier League.

Brendan Rodgers had been tracking midfielder Hughes, 19, until he penned a new four-year deal and pledged his future to the Rams.

But should boss Steve McClaren fail to take the iPro Stadium outfit out of the Championship, Rodgers will make a fresh move for the England Under-21s star.
