Liverpool want 'good boy' clause in Balotelli contract

Liverpool reportedly want to insert a 'good behaviour' clause in Mario Balotelli's proposed contract.

The AC Milan striker is being heavily linked with a £16million move to Anfield but the Reds want him to be on his best behaviour if he happens to return to England.

The Liverpool Echo reports that Liverpool chief executive Iain Ayre met with Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola this week to negotiate a contract and guarantee that the former Inter Milan and Manchester City forward will bring his best attitude to Merseyside.

It appears as though Balotelli will definitely leave Milan after a statement on the club's website said he had departed.

"Mario Balotelli drove out of Milanello at 13.30 after saying good-bye to his team-mates and the club's press staff," read the statement on the Rossoneri's official website.
