Liverpool veteran defender Jamie Carragher is in no doubt that striker Fernando Torres will stay at the club this season.
Speculation surrounding the Spaniard's future persists with talk that he may leave Anfield in the current transfer window but plenty of Liverpool people, including Kenny Dalglish, have stated they are positive he will remain.
Now teammate Carragher has joined the chorus, saying he is certain Torres will stay in a Reds shirt and help the club rebuild after a disappointing season.
"There's been a lot of negativity and it's been like that for a while, but I'm sure that Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres will still be involved at the club next season," he said.
"If they are, then the aim for Liverpool must be to get back into the Champions League. We have to build. Next season, rather than thinking too much about the title, we have to concentrate on getting back into the top four.
"It's a rebuilding process again and hopefully we can get ourselves right up there."
