Liverpool are keeping tabs on Lazio attacking midfielder Goran Pandev.
Bayern Munich chief scout Paul Breitner has confirmed their interest in the Macedonia international, while Liverpool are also having scouts watch him this season.
Pandev is contracted to Lazio until 2009 and there's fears he could invoke FIFA's Article 17 law next summer to buy himself out of his current deal.
Rome sources say Portsmouth had a mega £17 million offer for Pandev rejected last year.
