Liverpool and Tottenham are chasing Barcelona winger Ibrahim Afellay.

Both Kenny Dalglish and Harry Redknapp are interested in taking the Holland international on loan and the Catalan club could be willing to let him leave for a year.

Afellay has just returned to the first team reckoning at Barca from long-term knee injury.
