Liverpool to offload raft of fringe players before transfer deadline

Liverpool are pushing to offload a raft of fringe players before Friday's transfer deadline.

Divock Origi is poised to head a mini-exodus, says the Liverpool Echo.

Besiktas, who have signed Loris Karius on a two-year loan, are among a number of potential suitors for the 23-year-old.

Lazar Markovic is another probable departure, with Belgian duo Standard Liege and Anderlecht – where Markovic spent the second half of last season – keen on a season-long loan move.

Sheyi Ojo is close to joining French side Stade de Reims on loan for the season, while Pedro Chirivella, who previously rejected a move to Rosenborg, could depart.
