Liverpool target Timo Horn to hold Cologne discussions

Liverpool target Timo Horn has dropped a hint that he might be prepared to leave his current club FC Cologne at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper, who reportedly has a £7million release clause in his contract, has impressed in the Bundesliga this term and could be the subject of a bid from Jurgen Klopp's Reds this summer.

Recent reports have suggested that his performances have attracted attention from the Merseyside club and the Reds have apparently sent scout Matthias Hamann to watch the player in recent games.

"We will see," he told the Set Pieces.

"I have a long contract [until 2019] in Cologne and my heart is in Cologne.

"I think we will talk about it with the manager [Peter Stoger], Jorg Schmadtke and also the goalkeeper trainer and then we will see what comes next."
