Tickets for Steven Gerrard's farewell match at Anfield are going for around £2,000 according to some reports.

The Liverpool captain will play his final game at the famous Merseyside venue on Saturday against Crystal Palace and although maximum ticket prices are £49, second-hand tickets are being sold on ticketbis.net.

The match is now sold out prompting those who have purchased their tickets to sell for exorbitant prices. £234.41 is the lowest single ticket available while there are some going for £2,500.

Gerrard's final match for the Reds - against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on May 24 - are already going for as much as £2,315.91 for away seats.
