Celtic defender Efe Ambrose is attracting Premier League interest.

The Scottish Sun says Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is one of at least three English Premier League gaffers believed to have stepped up their interest.

Swansea and Liverpool are also thought to be keeping tabs on the 24-year-old.

Ambrose penned a three-year deal when he made a £1.5million switch from Israeli side Ashdod less than six months ago.
