Liverpool signing Calvin Ramsay is still some time away from making his debut.

The signing from Aberdeen is continuing his rehabilitation at the club's Training Centre after an injury was discovered during his medical.

Ramsay did not take part in any of Liverpool's pre-season matches, and is yet to feature for the club in a competitive game after being sidelined.

The Scotland international has issued a promising update about his fitness on social media, posting a picture of himself in the gym.

The youngster can be seen on an exercise bike alongside midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is also out injured.
