Liverpool striker Danny Sturridge hopes to make England's World Cup qualifier with Ukraine.
Sturridge, who was forced to miss the clash with Moldova at Wembley, believes he is winning his fitness battle.
He returned to Melwood on Thursday for more intensive treatment on his thigh and wants to join up with the squad at their hotel in Watford on Saturday evening.
