Premier League new boys AFC Bournemouth are reportedly showing considerable interest in Rickie Lambert.

The Daily Mirror reports that the Cherries are looking to lure the 33-year old striker from Liverpool this summer.

Lambert is unlikely to be kept on by the Reds past the end of this season which has alerted Bournemouth who are looking for experienced British players to help in their first-ever campaign in England's top flight.

It is believed that former Southampton star Lambert, who has started just seven times in the league this season, would cost Bournemouth around £4million.
