Liverpool striker Jerome Sinclair is delighted with his move to Wigan Athletic.
The 18-year-old finalised his loan switch to the struggling Latics yesterday and links up with Reds team-mate Sheyi Ojo at the DW Stadium.
He said: "I'm delighted to be here. I trained this morning, which went really well.
"The squad is really buoyant and hopefully we can get some good results to try and keep us in this league.
"When you go to a new team and an environment with a lot of new faces, it can be quite difficult to settle in, but with a familiar face in Sheyi already here it's going to be really easy for me.
"I've seen already that there are some really quality players in this team and the players can go and express themselves, so hopefully we can soon start to climb the division.
"We just have to keep working hard and try and nail down some good results and hopefully stay up."
