Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has heaped praise on teammate Philippe Coutinho following his brilliant winner in the FA Cup on Wednesday night.
The Brazilian playmaker produced a neat one-two with Henderson before firing beyond Blackburn Rovers keeper Simon Eastwood in the 70th minute of the quarter-final replay at Ewood Park.
Henderson told BT Sport after the triumph that Coutinho's goal was made possible by his cleverness as well as some pure class.
"Philippe's got a great footballing brain and the easy bit is just giving him [the ball] and he's finished it fantastically well," Henderson said.
"It was a great strike. That little bit of brilliance from him wins us the game and gives everyone a big lift. So hopefully now we can really kick on in our last seven games in the Premier League and also in the semi-final."
Liverpool will next meet Aston Villa in the final four of the famous cup competition at Wembley on Sunday, April 19.
