Cardiff City captain Steven Caulker is a target for Liverpool and Southampton.

The Daily Mail says the 22-year-old has a release clause in his contract that he can leave following relegation.

Liverpool, along with Southampton, are showing interest.

Speaking after defeat at Newcastle United, he said: "I signed a four-year deal here so I'll be looking to get us back promoted next season."
