Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is convinced they can finish in the top four this season.

Liverpool's owners John W Henry and Tom Werner have insisted manager Brendan Rodgers does not have to deliver a top-four finish after three years away from Europe's top club competition.

But Gerrard says: "I think we will get in the top four. I am not being unrealistic. If we play like we did in a lot of games last season, be clinical and take our chances, I think we will be high up in the table."
