Liverpool are set to make a surprise move for Barcelona's Gerard Deulofeu.Metro reports that the Reds are lining up a summer move for the 21-year old Spanish winger who is currently on loan at Sevilla.

Brendan Rodgers is believed to be a big admirer of Deulofeu and is poised to pursue him after it emerged that Barcelona are set to sell at the end of the current campaign.

The possible move may come as a shock to some after Deulofeu spent time on loan with Liverpool's Merseyside rivals Everton in the 2013/14 season.
