Liverpool are looking to up the ante in their pursuit pf PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay.

The Daily Mirror is of the belief that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has been given the all-clear to go after the 21-year old forward who is already a target for Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool have already made contact with Depay's representatives but are now set to make a big summer move for Depay who has scored a league-high 20 goals for the newly-crowned Eredivisie champions.

It is believed that the Anfield club have been given permission to speak with Depay who is being valued at around £25million.
