Promising Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is attracting the interest of Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
The 19-year old has been starring in the Championship whilst on loan for Blackpool and it is believed Wolves want him at the Molienux for a short spell starting in January.
Although he didn't name names, McCarthy insisted that the club would be looking to bring in some fresh faces during the winter transfer period.
"We'll be looking to do something in January, definitely," McCarthy told Express & Star.
"Myself, Jez (Moxey) and Steve (Morgan) will sit down and have a discussion about that. Myself, Dave Bowman, Taff (Ian Evans) and Terry Connor are always talking about it. If we can get anybody it would be important to freshen the squad up.
"If there's players around we can get and do something to improve us as a squad or as a team, we'll try to do it."
It is also believed that Wolves have curiosity for Leeds United striker Ross McCormack.
