Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has thanked retiring Brazilian great Ronaldo.
The 34-year old former PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Brazil national team star ended his playing days this week after 18 years at the top.
He was loved by all Brazilians and Lucas was no exception, thanking him and wishing him all the best on his Twitter page.
'Thanks @claroronaldo for everything you did. You are genius and we will have just good things to talk about you. All the best,' wrote Lucas.
Ronaldo retired with a plethora of honours, titles and awards, including the 1994 and 2002 World Cups and multiple World Player of the Year awards.
