Liverpool signing Dejan Lovren has admitted to being frustrated at being unable to obtain the required visa to join his new teammates in the USA.
The Croatian defender joined the Anfield club from Southampton for £20million last week and was hoping to link up with the Reds squad who are currently in the States as part of their pre-season preparations.
Lovren turned up at the US embassy in London on Friday afternoon in a bid to gain the required paperwork but was unsuccessful in doing so which prompted the post of annoyance on Twitter.

Furthermore, the former Lyon star told Croatian sports newspaper Sportske novosti that he was irritated at not being able to join the Liverpool players Stateside.
"Unfortunately I could not get a visa straight away," he said.
"Therefore I cannot join my team-mates in the U.S. I am sad because of that.
"Of course it's not good that I have not joined the team's preparations in the US.
"However, I have plenty of days until their return from the tour.
"I will train with the Under 21 team in Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers will send a programme for me to practice."
