Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has been discharged from hospital and should be fit to be involved in his club's next Premier League outing.
The England international was admitted for tests after complaining of pain on the right side of his face prior to Saturday's meeting with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Scans showed that Johnson had a minor infection and has since been given permission to head home as he looks to take part in next weekend's clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage.
