Roy Hodgson is unsure just how severe the latest groin injury to Liverpool striker Fernando Torres really is.
The Spain international was subbed off in the 10th minute of Sunday's 2-1 loss to Blackpool but Hodgson was not yet sure just how serious the problem was and if his main man would miss much action.
"It is a groin strain, I don't know how severe," he said.
"It came as a surprise to us, we had no awareness there were any problems in the groin area.
"I don't know if it was something which happened during the course of the game."
