Steven Gerrard says he is looking forward to playing alongside Michael Carrick in the next two England games.
The Manchester United midfielder was omitted from the squad for Euro2012 but has been recalled by manager Roy Hodgson for the World Cup qualifiers against Moldova (Friday) and Ukraine (Tuesday) with the selection delighting skipper Gerrard.
"Michael is a quality player, I've played with him in a few England games," said the Liverpool star.
"It's great to have him back available, he'll certainly make the team and the squad stronger."
